About this Event

Women+Thrive’s purpose is to provide a community of resources, guidance, and support for women at all stages of their careers to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed, reach their potential and attain their career goals.

Our intention is to build supportive partnerships between women who are seeking guidance and help with women who have industry and life experience – with the result of helping women recognize opportunities for themselves and take action with confidence.

#WhatDoIWantWednesday is about how to ask for what you want in the workplace.

Starting with knowing how to determine what you want and moving through a variety of topics, including discussion around asking for a job/promotion/raise, managing self-promotion and confidence and delving into the gender differences and dynamics between men and women asking for and getting what they want.

  • Dana V. Adams, Founder of Life Mapping Institute

  • Emily Parkhurst, Publisher of the Puget Sound Business Journal
